On May 16, join the Toronto Consort, the Dowland Collective, and famed tenor Charles Daniels for Now is the month of Maying - Madrigals and Songs to celebrate 400 Years of Dowland. Our joyous, season finale will be held in the Jeanne Lamon Hall at Trinity-St. Paul’s Centre.

This jubilant season finale celebrates the 400th anniversary of John Dowland's death with a program that captures the full spectrum of English Renaissance song. Internationally acclaimed tenor Charles Daniels joins forces with Toronto Consort and the specialized Dowland Collective to present an evening of exquisite madrigals, lute songs, and instrumental music. From the melancholy beauty of Dowland's famous 'Flow my tears' to the joyous celebration of 'Now is the month of Maying,' this concert showcases the golden age of English song in all its emotional richness and technical brilliance.
